Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 21 years of age to register for any training but to facilitate a teen program you must be at least 4 years older than the oldest teen in the program.
All OWL trainings require that 3.5 hours of pre-training assignments be completed at least 4 days prior to the start of training. These involve ordering and reviewing the curricula; watching 2 short videos and a webinar; and submitting brief (1-3 sentences) reflections to the trainers. These assignments must be completed before a participant can be approved to facilitate.
We are committed to making this training accessible. UUCC is fully wheelchair accessible (with elevator), has all-gender bathrooms with free parking on-site. We ask that people test for COVID before arriving at the training on Friday, and we will have on-site rapid tests available if anyone develops symptoms. We will decide collectively at the training whether masks will be required. Please let us know about any other accessibility needs we can suppport you with.
