Welcome!

Joining Sunday includes a welcoming ritual during the service for those who have decided they would like to become a member of UUCC. You are signing up for Sunday, May 3rd.

Before registering for Joining Sunday, we request that you have attended one of our Getting to Know UU - Newcomers' Retreats or have met with Rev. Dr. Molly Housh Gordon to discuss your interest in becoming a member.

During the service on Joining Sunday, you will be invited to come to the front of church where you will be introduced to the congregation, be presented with a small gift of welcome, and invited to sign the Membership Book. New members and the congregation join in reading aloud our shared covenants. You do not need to arrive early, but we request that you stay after service for your picture to be taken.

If standing at the front of church isn't your vibe, but you'd like to become a member, please reach out to membership@uucomo.org, and we can help arrange a private signing with Rev. Molly.
