Hello and welcome!

Thank you for your interest in the UUCC Choir. I am so excited to welcome you into the circle. If you are new here, here's what to expect for rehearsals and performances.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The UUCC choir is welcome to all singers and songs are selected with the knowing that some members have different comfort levels with reading music. Some song selections will be learned by rote with simple lyric sheets, alternatively, I will also mix in more complex pieces in sheet music form. All songs will be uploaded and shared in a Google Drive, with practice tracks and/or other helpful listening links for songs. The goal is to make the learning process as easy for you as possible! We sing at roughly 3-4 Sunday morning services a season. See the upcoming perfromance dates below. 

REHEARSALS

WHEN: 
Wednesday Evenings (We often take the Wednesday after Sunday performances off)

TIME:
7:00 -7:15 Gathering and Community Time
7:15 -7:20 Warm Ups
7:20 - 8:15 Rehearsal

WHERE:
The UUCC Sanctuary

EXPECTATIONS
Ideally, when signing up for choir, you are committing to the entire season of Sunday morning performances. If you are unable to commit to each of the planned Sunday performances, please make a note below. If you are unable to make a Sunday performance, I ask that you do not attend the rehearsals leading up to the performance. This helps the other members have more clarity on the parts they are singing and helps me to know what parts will be covered.

WHAT TO BRING TO REHEARSALS
A black three ring binder or choir folder. If you do not have one and need assistance, please let me know!
